This 30 minute free session will look at owl wings, how owls fly, their feathers and patterns. We might even be able to encourage an owl to join us for a close up view. Suitable for all ages. Over the anniversary weekend of the Battle of Shrewsbury, visitors will head back to the medieval period with the battlefield coming back to life.

Over the anniversary weekend of the Battle of Shrewsbury, visitors will head back to the medieval period with the battlefield coming back to life.
During this family day out, there will be the chance to see knights in armour and archers preparing for battle. There will be living history, including traditional crafts and cookery, with a variety of activities to try your hand at throughout the day. This will include national and regional living history groups along with many specialists on a huge range of areas.
At the end of each day, spectators will be able to take sides and cheer on their favoured army, as part of the battle is re-enacted on the original battlefield.

This February holiday keep the children entertained by a visit to our Centre. Open 10.30am - 3.30pm everyday. Last admission 3pm

There's lots to do on what promises to be a lovely evening. Our Falconers will be on hand for you to meet and greet some of the birds as well as tasty festive treats, stalls from local suppliers, Father Christmas on his tractor, music from our church choir and Shropshire Brass Band.

This year we will be bringing this story to life for the young and young at heart. Lots of activities, more information to follow soon. Must be pre-booked via the Hootline on 07719 909967 or the online shop.
