We are a small independent business on the site of Battlefield 1403. All admission fees go to the running costs of the Centre and the refurbishment of it. If you would like to make an additional donation please advise the member of staff on the desk. Thank you for your support.

You are welcome to spend as long as you like at the Centre. Most visitors spend between 20 minutes and an hour. Your receipt means that you can come and go as you like during the day. Please be aware that there are no toilets at the Centre.
We do not allow dogs on site as the birds don't like them.

Quiz

This can be found in the Education Room next to the Great Grey Owls. Both young and young at heart are welcome to have a go. There is a magnetic board for your to display your work or you can take it home with you.
Both of these activities are included in your admission. All we ask is that you leave the room tidy for other visitors

With the increasing risk of Bird Flu we are asking all visitors to the Centre to use the footbaths placed at the entrance. The footbaths have to be a certain depth in order to disinfect your footwear correctly so please bear this in mind. We also ask that you refrain wearing any clothing or footwear that you have recently visited areas where they has been wildfowl or poultry. These requests are to keep our birds safe. If one case of bird flu is found at the Centre then ALL of our feathered occupants will be euthanised.

There's more to do when you visit the Centre...
